Erina is a cheerful, energetic and bright young lady, characterised by her boundless enthusiasm and her rebellious spirit.
She is shown to be the most flippant, carefree and adventurous member of her team, frequently making sarcastic comments and jokes even in the heat of battle and often taking combat and hostile situations lightly. 
Erina is very sociable and extroverted, she is very open to conversation and makes friends very easily.
However, Erina is more insightful than one would think and is capable of being serious when necessary.
Much like her mother Erina is a skilled tactician, she has the ability to strategise quickly and efficiently.
She can think up inventive and extremely unorthodox solutions to problems on the fly, a trait that often gives her an edge against opponents that are much stronger and larger than her.
Despite she might act bossy and overconfident at times, Erina does not doubt the talents of her friends and respects their decisions even if she doesn't agree with them. She can also be fiercely protective with the ones she cares about and is always willing to support them when they need it the most.

HISTORY:

Born on a hot day of August from Fairy Tail's First Master, Mavis Vermillion and the Wild Hunt's commander Verdia Lothric, Erina enjoyed a peaceful and happy childhood in the countryside in company of her friends and her loving family. 
Ever since she was young she had a strong desire for adventure and wanted to follow her mother's footsteps.
Her rebellious and free spirited nature gave her a lot of trouble during her high school years, especially since her teachers expected a lot from her due to her family name. That made it even harder for Erina to integrate with the other students of her class.
Eventually Erina was fed up with always having to listen to the grown ups and the high expectations they had on her and decided to live her life by her own rules without having to prove anything to anyone.
MAGIC:

Shadow Dance

Erina has mastered a swift and deadly style of shadow magic that focuses on speed, balance and grace
Years of practice turned her in a crafty combatant who succeeds in battle by combining agility, subterfuge and deception to bring her opponents down in unexpected ways, sometimes before the enemy even perceives danger.
The combination of shadow magic and dual daggers, while lacking in damage, gives Erina lightning fast speed and deadly counter-attacking ability.

-Shadow Flicker
Erina used waves of dark energy to carry her forward, allowing her to dash at lightning fast speed and close the gap between her and the enemy in the blink of an eye.

-Shadow Riposte
Erina strikes her enemy with a blast of dark energy at point blank range, breaking through his defences before viciously thrusting her dagger in his gut

-Veil of Shadows
Erina summons a cloud of dark energy in front of her that shields her from damage and allows her to safely retreat away from her foes

-Triple Threat 
Erina grabs onto her foe and stabs him three times with her dagger in a quick and rapid succession 

-Shadow Strike
Erina dashes behind her victim and launches a deadly surprise attack, slashing him across the back

-Ripping Fangs
Erina sweeps both weapons in a broad forward arc, striking nearby enemies with a wave of darkness energy 

-Overkill 
Erina furiously lashes out at her opponent, overpowering him and repeatedly stabbing him in the chest with her daggers 

-Thousand Cuts Waltz 
Erina flies into a whirling dance of death, cutting through the foes that surround her with a vortex of dark energy  

-Last Surprise
Erina surrounds her dagger with dark energy allowing her to deflect an incoming attack, before swiftly moving behind her opponent and delivering a crippling blow to the back of his neck.

Death Huntress

Erina has the ability to disable her opponents with curses that impair their movement speed and their resistance to damage, making them an easier target for her death dealing blades.

-Vendetta
Erina casts a ghostly black seal on her opponent that gradually drains him of his stamina and reduces his resistance to damage, allowing her to hit him even harder

-No Escape 
Erina sends forward a tethered bolt of dark energy that chains two enemies together and restrains their movement, the shadows entangle their bodies and place a vendetta mark on both of them 

-Knife in the Shadows
Erina creates a veil of shadows around her opponent that temporarily blinds him and gives her the opportunity to strike him from the flank

Lockpicking 

Through practice and research, Erina has come to possess an encyclopedic knowledge of devices designed to prevent entry. 
Her particularly dexterous hands and steady grip allow her to disarm the most intricate locks or elaborate traps.

Stealth 

Erina has mastered the art of stealth, allowing her to move silently in the shadows without being seen or heard.

Eyes of Balor

Erina has a strong connection to the spiritual world just like her father and inherited the ability to sense the presence of the souls of the departed and intract with them.
Her enhanced perception also allows her to see through illusions and dispell them.

Fairy Glitter

Because of her high magic affinity Erina was able to learn fairy glitter from her mother, however the spell requires a lot of time and concentration to perform, making Erina an easy target. Additionally casting fairy glitter drains Erina of her strength and leaves her helpless and unable to keep on fighting. For this reason she only uses this devastating spell as a last resort, when she knows that the battle can't be won in any different way.

MISCELLANEOUS: 

*She has the tendency to strike stylish and unnatural poses in the midst of battle, needless to say her behaviour weirds out both her enemies and her friends

*She is really good at imitating other people's voices and enjoys dressing up for her own entertainment 

*Much like her mother, should someone piss her off she will stare at him coldly until he stops being such a nuisance 

*Despite being a rebel and a delinquent she really loves her parents and enjoys spending time with them

*She's afraid of heights just like her father, even though she will always deny it
